  • [16 July 2000] Some new additions
    • "The Thirty-one Planes of Existence". This addition to the "Path To Freedom" pages outlines the Buddhist conception of the various samsaric planes of existence in the universe, ranging from the hell realms all the way up to the most sublime and blissful heavens. Where do you want to go?
    • I've added a few more "Frequently-asked Questions", that cover some basic questions about Buddhism, such as "Are Buddhists Vegetarian?", "Are there any enlightened people in the world today?", etc.)
  • [26 May 2000] Handful of Leaves CD-ROM is out of print
    • The Handful of Leaves CD is no longer available from Access to Insight. Keep in mind, however, that you may download a copy of the entire Access to Insight website at any time.
  • [3 May 2000] List of recent changes
    • You can now keep track of all the changes — large and small — that I make to the website by viewing the list of recent changes. (Minor changes aren't announced on this "What's New" page.) Those of you who regularly use the "bulk download" feature may find this information useful in deciding when it's time to download the latest version of the website.
